Lucy Muyoyeta
Board Member


Lucy Muyoyeta is a holder of a Masters Degree in Rural Social Development. She has had a long professional life with NGOs and is also an activist for women’s rights. Her other passions are education and governance. Lucy is active in civic and voluntary work and in that capacity is the current President of the Zambia Association of University Women (ZAUW). She is also a trustee of the Southern Africa Trust and was Chairperson of the National Governing Council of the APRM. She is also past chairperson of the Non-Governmental Organisations Coordinating Council (NGOCC). Her main achievements include; as first Executive Director of OSISA, she developed it into a credible organisation/programme in 9 countries in the region, as first Country Director of ActionAid Zambia built a solid foundation for the organisation in the country and as a volunteer President of ZAUW has successfully re-launched the organisation and it is now sponsoring 17 girls at secondary school and university level. Lucy is currently employed as Project Director at Opportunity Zambia
